WHO WE ARE
History of BEST: BEST is an offspring of an In-service Bible School. In 1988, God gave a vision to Rev. David Mundama N. on the need of training un-trained lay Pastors but who were already pastoring in some local Churches in the Kom local villages. The Rev. Mundama N. started the first In-service Bible School in summer of 1989 in the Baptist Comprehensive High School (BCHS) Njinikejem where he was Chaplain.
The In-service training continued over the years and was later developed into Bible school since the need on ground was very clear. The school evolved to Baptist International School of Theology (BIST) and then to Baptist Evangelical School of Theology ( BEST).
Location: BEST is situated on Fujua road along the way to Abuh in Fundong; Boyo Division, North West Region of Cameroon.

DISTINCTIVE
Each student has an ample opportunity to become familiar with the various areas of vocational Christian service before he decides on the particular area towards which God is directing him by offering all courses together for now. But later students will offer core courses together and move to their various concentrations.
Fifty percent (50%) of the courses are from the Biblical studies core curriculum. BEST firmly believes that no minister or theological student can ever graduate beyond the need for a greater understanding of the word of God. The word of God must never be relegated to a minor role in preparation of ministers of the Gospel of Christ. Hence the student has a greater ability to formulate and interpret true theology from the word of God.
These courses give the student the proper tools to be an effective minister in the Church and society.
