ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS
ADMISSIONS
Admission Philosophy: BEST was formed to meet the needs of the Church in Cameroon in particular and Africa and the world in general. Therefore priority in admissions will be given first to those interested in serving the Churches.
Admissions committee: All admissions into BEST are by the admissions committee composed of selected faculty under the supervision of the Dean of academics.
Admission Procedures
Applications
– All prospective candidates must submit a duly filled application form and all other required credentials and transcripts.
– Pay a non-refundable fee of 5.000frs for registrations and must meet all other requirements spelled out in the application form. Candidates must submit to the Registrar’s office the application form, all other required credentials and transcripts.
1) . A church recommendation
2). A Fellowship recommendation
3). A District recommendation
4). A Medical certificate proven to have taken a medical check up with results.
5). Photocopies of all academic certificates, Birth certificate, ID card, marriage certificate,
6). Approval of an interview panel (BEST faculty).
Entrance Examination: All candidates must sit for an entrance examination covering areas in English language, Bible knowledge and Doctrine offered at designated centers. All prospective candidates should contact the registrar for more specific information.
Academic Requirements for admission
– Certificate in Theology: First school leaving certificate
– Diploma in Theology: 4 O/L GCE in one sitting or its equivalent
– Degree in Theology: 2 A/L GCE in one sitting or its equivalent
Mature entry – Students with a heart for ministry may be admitted with certificates other than those mentioned above but will have to be decided by the admission committee.
International Students
BEST opens its doors to international students. The language of instruction is English. Students whose language of instruction in the past has not
been English will be required to take a proficiency test in English before admission.
